Max Jacobs Identity

This project involved developing a dynamic visual motion identity for Max Jacobs, an artist whose work primarily consists of 3D-printed sculptures exploring themes of religion, faith, mythology, feminism, and innovation. The objective was to craft a distinctive yet non-distracting identity—one that supports and amplifies Max’s work across digital and physical platforms without overshadowing it.

At the heart of the identity is an ornamental ‘M’ monogram, designed to reflect Max’s artistic vision and topics explored in his practice. It is paired with a clean, recognizable visual system and a flexible variable typeface. Together, these elements form a cohesive design language, blending classical symbolism with contemporary design to position Max’s work within a forward-thinking fine art context, adaptable across multiple media.
